We all are living as main characters in our own stories. There is so much emphasis on creating the best world for ourselves that we never take a second to stop and acknowledge those around us. Every individual person on this planet has their own story to tell. My desire with this series is to capture single snapshots of the beauty of random individuals around me, people who normally would come and go, never to be seen or thought about again. I find raw human behavior to be fascinating. Every person is different and special in their own way, and I aim to capture powerful or memorable moments presented in their lives; the small actions we may do for another person, for another animal, for the world. It helps put things into perspective, that all life is valuable regardless of who you are and what you might be doing at any given moment. Showcasing true and natural beauty in humanity is especially important in a world that becomes more toxic and fake by the day. This project has really shown me the intricacies of human behavior, and I hope to continue on this journey of capturing “realness.”
